1 package Tinkyada Brown Rice Pasta Fettucine
2 cans diced tomatoes
½ can tomato paste
⅓ cup fresh basil, chopped
8 large clove garlic, minced
⅓ cup finely diced onion
1 tsp dried oregano
1 bay leaf
1 tsp salt
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
⅓ cup olive oil
Add olive oil to a large skillet and cook the garlic and onion over low heat until fragrant. Then add the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, chopped basil, oregano, red pepper flakes and bay leaf. Simmer until thickens, about 20 minutes, stir occasionally.
After the sauce is reduced, season with salt. Discard the bay leaf.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook Brown rice pasta Fettucine according to package directions.
Add the cooked fettucine into the sauce and let it cook for 30 seconds and serve.
