One Pot Chili Mac

This easy recipe is packed with protein and warm spice that’s a perfect comfort food for anytime of the year.


  • 1 package Tinkyada Brown Rice Shells pasta

  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 can stewed tomatoes

  • ½ can red beans, drained

  • 8 oz tomato sauce

  • 2 cup low sodium chicken broth

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 package taco seasoning mix

  • 1 cups shredded Mexican Cheese or sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 green onion, chopped

  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Using a large skillet, cook the ground beef until brown on medium high heat, pour off drippings. Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant.

  2. Add canned tomato, tomato sauce, bean, chicken broth, water, and, taco seasoning mix, and let it simmer on low for 10 minutes. Covered.

  3. Stir in uncooked pasta and simmer on medium low heat until al dente, about 9-12 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

  4. Sprinkle cheese on top and cover the skillet with lid for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese melts.

  5. Garnish with chopped green onion.

  6. Enjoy!
